The Living in Liberty Tour
Adventurous individuals are always in search for their next high, their next challenge in life. I experienced mine when I decided to leave America in the middle of a global pandemic. As spontaneous as it may sound, it was calculated to the extent of knowing that if I ever wanted to experience life outside of America on my own terms and time, then that time was now and not later. And guess what? I never regretted one moment of that decision. It was my freedom. It was my peace.
It is what I call “Living In Liberty”
Hello there, my name is Pamela also known as Liberty when roaming through Dominican Republic. No place on Earth is perfect, but the D.R. is close to it. Here are just a few of my reasons why I like it so much:
1. Weather! I love tropical, hot weather and the Dominican Republic delivers. The temperature in the D.R. averages between 77 F – 82 F.
2. An abundance of fresh food! It is a natural wonder to have fresh fruits literally at your fingertips. I get to enjoy the delivery of freshness at my door daily.
3. Cost of living! Healthcare, food, and housing in Dominican neighborhoods are extremely affordable. In Expat communities, the expats enjoy a comfortable lifestyle from $2,000 - $2,500 per month. Dominican neighborhoods are less.
4. Access to America! I can easily get back to USA within a day as travel from the D.R. to Miami is only a 2 – 3 hour flight.
5. Language! I don’t have to be fluent in Spanish, but I will get there. 😊
Did I mention the other natural wonders like the beaches, rainforests, & waterfalls? All of it is breathtaking. So much so, that I had to ask myself, why don’t people live like this instead of vacation like this? Live. In. Paradise.
All of this and more led to the birth of the Living In Liberty Tour.
If you are that adventurous person desiring a kickstart to something new, then prepare to dust off your passport and experience life abroad in the Dominican Republic.
